About Dubai Marina
Dubai Marina sits along a two-mile man-made canal near the coast, next to JBR and the Marina Walk. It is one of the most built-up parts of the city, made up mostly of high-rise towers around the water. The mix of residents leans toward professionals, families in the larger apartments, and a lot of tenants rather than owners.
The area is busy year round. The Marina Walk and the promenade at the base of the towers are lined with cafes, restaurants and small shops, and the two tram stops and the nearby metro make it easy to get around without a car. Most homes here are apartments, from studios up to large family flats, with a smaller number of townhouses and villas around the edges toward the Al Sufouh side. Because so much of the area is rented and turns over often, security at the front door of a flat is a common concern for owners and tenants.
CCTV for Marina apartments
Apartment owners usually want a camera at the front door and one or two inside the flat. The reason is often simple. Parcels get taken from outside the door. People want to check on their home while they travel over the summer. A camera at the entrance covers both of those.
There is one thing to know about apartments. You own your flat, but you do not own the corridor outside it or the outside wall of the tower. If a camera needs to point down a shared hallway, or sit on an external wall, the building management normally has to approve it first. We can look at what you want before installation and tell you what is likely to get signed off. That way you do not pay for an install that the building later asks you to remove.
CCTV for Marina shops and offices
The units along the promenade and at the base of the towers are a different job. Here the concern is usually theft, a problem at the till, or a landlord or insurer who asks for cameras as a condition of the lease. For these we cover the entrance, the till or reception, and any stock room or back office. If you have more than one unit, we can put them on one system so you view them all in one place.
Villas and townhouses near the Marina
There are some townhouses and low-rise homes around the edges of the Marina and toward JBR. These are simpler than the towers. Cameras go at the gate, over the parking and along the sides of the property, with the recorder kept inside out of the way. Remote viewing goes on the phones of whoever in the household needs it.

The initial quote is not the final fixed price. If camera positions, cable routes, access, power, network details or site conditions need checking, we arrange a site visit and confirm the final scope and price before installation. Once approved, the system is installed, tested and handed over with remote viewing configured where included and supported.
Common questions
Do I need building permission to install CCTV in a Marina apartment?
For cameras inside your own flat, no. If a camera points down a shared corridor or is fixed to the outside of the building, the building management usually needs to approve it first. We explain what may need approval before installation.
How long does the installation take?
Timing depends on the number of cameras, access and cable routes. A small apartment can sometimes be completed in half a day, while larger homes and commercial properties can take longer. We confirm the expected timing before work begins.
Can I watch the cameras from my phone?
Remote viewing can be included in the proposed system. Compatibility and the agreed devices are confirmed in the quotation, then setup is demonstrated during handover.
Do you service cameras you did not install?
We can assess many existing systems, including installations completed by another company. Repair and maintenance options depend on compatibility, parts availability and equipment condition.
