What a warehouse system needs to cover
The floor, the doors, the storage, the loading area and the yard. Cameras mounted at height give a wide view across an open floor, which is more useful than several cameras covering small sections. Doors and loading bays record what comes in and goes out. The gate records vehicles.
Storage areas and high-value stock usually get their own cover. Where goods are picked and dispatched, a camera on that area settles most questions about what was loaded.
Overnight is when it matters
An industrial unit is busy during the day and empty at night. Almost every incident happens when nobody is there. That makes the perimeter, gate and yard cameras the most important part of the system, and it makes night performance more important than daytime picture quality.

Storage and how far back you can look
In a warehouse, a discrepancy may not come to light for weeks. Footage that has already been overwritten is no use. We work out how far back you realistically need to be able to look and size the recorder and storage to match, rather than fitting the smallest drive that works.
