About Al Khawaneej
Al Khawaneej is a residential district in the far east of Dubai, past Mirdif toward the desert edge. It is known for its large villas on spacious plots, its farms and stables, and a quieter, more traditional feel than the central districts. The Last Exit and Al Khawaneej Walk have added retail and dining to the area.
The homes are mostly large detached villas, many with substantial gardens and outbuildings, and some properties include stables or small farms. It draws families who want space away from the busier parts of the city. Because plots here are large and often include outbuildings and land, jobs tend to involve covering more ground than a standard villa.
